Reviews/Feedback:
Lipitor: between the lipitor and toprol and one aspirin a day, i have not experienced any heart problems in the last five years. i aslo strength train and cardio via treadmill 3x a week.
Lipitor: I took the pill once a day for 1 year.
Lipitor: As stated above, initial blood tests to determine cholesterol levels. Then was put on a maintenance dose of the Lipitor and I have been taking it for approximately forty eight months. No side effects. Annual blood test to determine if there are negative effects on the liver functions.
Lipitor: Please note "treatment side effects"
Lipitor: Treatment was to administer Lipitor 10 mg daily, watch diet by eating lots of fruits and vegetables, eat fish and decrease amount of red meat. Continue with exercise daily for at least 30 minutes each day.
Lipitor: wondering if this pill is making my ears ring...anyone else
Lipitor: I am taking this drug due to a history of heart disease on my father's side of the family. Also, my doctor suggested taking a B12 1000 miligrams suppliment along with this drug. I have no symptoms of aching joints but a euphoria that brings added energy to my day. I feel great since taking on this medicine.
Lipitor: Using Liptor 40mg frommore than 10 years. Keeps my figures Right. I have had CABG twice. Once in 1992 and again in 1996. Both unsuccessful. I live on one artery with a stent inside it. Lipitor helps me enough I am sure. So far soGood
Lipitor: No problem with Lipitor after taking it for a year. Cholesterol is down around 160 with 10mg taken at night. But, recently have gotten a headache while sleeping. Could it be the Lipitor? Took myself off for a few days and did not experience a headache. Plan on going back on it now to see if it is the culprit.
Lipitor: my husband has been taking this medication (a very small dose, only 3 times per week)for at least 5 years. Medically, his cholesterol levels, while not high to begin with, have been very satisfactory, in the 150's now with excellent triglyceride levels as well. My husband is very trim and physically active in his job. Lately, his right elbow has been giving him terrible joint pain, which i see is a side effect. Also, he is experiencing erectile dysfunction, which could be caused by other factors, but has never been a problem before. I see only one other post which mentions this as a problem. Just thought i'd add this in case anyone else has noticed this.
